Our story
From public accounting to nationwide adoption
ARCSys was founded in 2010 by Mike Umscheid and Dean Rodil after spending the majority of their careers in public accounting, auditing, and technology. They took their expertise in the regulatory compliance world and focused on helping institutions address their accounting practices using SaaS-based products.
The ACL Calculator was quickly adopted by financial institutions nationwide. Today, ARCSys has expanded to include a range of technologies and solutions — custom CECL modeling, validation, ALM, the ARCSys Data Warehouse, and the ARCSys Learning Portal. ARCSys Consulting adds services for asset purchases, back-testing, sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, and automated valuation modeling.
With the mounting pressures of the CECL standard, financial institutions need a trusted partner to help comply with these regulations. We believe the forecasts and models developed in the allowance will drive stress testing, capital management, predictive analytics, ALM, and budgeting moving forward.
